Our Mission and Vision

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (Eph 4:11-12 KJV).

We purpose to build disciples of Jesus Christ by empowering people to walk out the Gospel and impact the world around them. Our vision is to gather, shepherd, encourage, confirm, and release into ministry those individuals God joins with us, as well as to develop, establish and oversee foundational expressions of Christian worship, training, prayer, and service.

We Are In The Midst of Revival

When I got home from the Vineyard Home Meeting tonight, the Lord began to bring to the surface of my mind many of the things I have written and preached about over the past 4 years since returning to The Dalles. If you’ve been around me much at all, you probably have heard me say these things in one way or another before. The Lord impressed me to share some of these things again in light of what He is doing.
We are in revival now. It’s not something we have to wait for or plead for. It is happening now. The kingdom of God is here and now, for those with eyes to see it, hearts to receive it, and hands to make it happen. Let’s not miss it because we are preoccupied with waiting for it, or maybe I should say looking for the mechanics of it.
First of all we need to see it; that is, perceive it. We have to quiet ourselves enough to see and hear what God is doing and saying. I see His glory upon us right now in unprecedented ways. There is a moving of the Spirit that has never happened this way before and if we are looking for how He did it at another place or another time, it will slip past us in the present, the here and now. As I’ve written many times, here and now has to do with intimacy and immediacy. It’s not then and there but here and now.
Secondly, we need hearts to receive it. After perceiving it, we need to agree with God concerning it. And it first comes to us and then through us. There is something I tell people a lot and some of you may be sick of hearing it. But I will say it again: Agree with God concerning yourself. It starts with you and once established in your heart you can spread it around. In us and then through us. That’s how it works.
Thirdly, we need hands to make it happen. What do I mean by this? Simply to be obedient to spread the glory around in the unique way God wants to use you. The seeing and receiving in our spirits will compel us to do something about it. Be open to His leading. Discern the what, when, where, and how of His working in your life and the why will become evident on its own.
I have more to share but will wait for His time to share it.
